| For me, almost every single one of these is from the 90's. No singles and no albums with only one or two good songs.
A few off the top of my head:
The Chronic Doggystyle Chronic 2001 Tha Doggfather
I'm way too baked to be remembering things. I'll add more when I'm sober.

| Paper Trail is alright but doesn't belong anywhere NEAR The Eminem Show, Doggystyle, The Chronic, or the like. Would you really compare them? | |

| Anyways...
I'm going through each and every song on my iPod so I can make more room for shit. And I just passed through Eminem and listened to the whole "The Eminem Show" album again.
That CD is fuckin' flawless. I would think there are more just as good, but I can't think of any off the top of my head where every single song is Top 40 material. I don't mean tolerable, I mean good.
Not even "Doggystyle" or "The Chronic 2001" are that good.
Anyone?
EDIT: FFFFFFUUUUUUUU- "Encore" maybe?

| I definitely think Doggystyle is the same quality. I love every single song on that album, and most of them would make my "top X songs of the 90's". Ain't No Fun is definitely my favorite single song of the 90's.
But yes that album IS amazing.

| Wow, really? Your favorite from the 90's, I don't think I could choose.
"Doggystyle" is indeed one of the best rap ablums of all time, but I think it still falls behind "The Eminem Show" for these reasons:
-E.S. has 15 actual songs that are mostly in the 4-6 min. range, Doggystyle only has 12 mostly in the 3-4 min. range. And on top of that, most have really long intro's, so the songs themselves are even shorter. -Eminem is way better lyrically then Snoop could ever be. -"Lodi Dodi" is the second longest song on that CD and I'd skip it if it came up on shuffle.

| What's wrong with Lodi Dodi? Eminem is perhaps better lyrically but I tend to like Snoop's beats a lot more. They're typically more upbeat and snazzy. A lot of Eminem's are real 'downer' beats, if that makes sense. Plus, Eminem's songs may be longer, but they seem to have more chorus repeats than Snoop's songs.
I'd much rather pump Doggystyle at a party than The Eminem Show, you know?
EDIT: I realize that both Eminem's and Snoop's beats are largely produced by Dre, but they're still quite different types.
EDIT2: Incidentally, I can't say this with certainty as I haven't listened to every Eminem song recently, but Stan is probably my favorite individual song by him.
EDIT3: Also, I think I might like Encore more than The Eminem Show, though both are 10/10 quality.

| Alright alright, to be fair with this I would have to say overall, both albums are very equal it's just how you see it. Lyrically, Eminem brings forth the depth of what hip-hop/rap should be about. He's up there with Nas, Notorious B.I.G, Big L, and Tupac. As for Snoop Dogg he brings the true G out of all of us. Like who the fuck doesn't like the song "Gin & Juice?" Remember fuckers, we don't smoke/drink to Eminem songs and we don't get into a serious mode about our lives when we listen to Snoop Dogg.
For relating life problems, events, or just need a good album to listen too. Eminem can do that.
As for smoking all day every day and postin it on your stoop/porch drink a 40oz, listening to Snoop Dogg sets the mood just right.

| i would only like to add one album to this list:
Relapse.
the album is different, catchy, full of hooks left and right and kind of a concept album, it is brilliant in every way and just goes to show you how eminem really is the best rapper of all time. "oh my god... did he just say that?" you heard right, a white guy is the best rapper of all time. 4 studio albums to date (as of may 15), all awesome, every single song on every cd of his is good enough to be its own single. countless colaboration songs, and an unmatched flow and play on words. If thats now enough how many rappers have been around 10 years and are still at the peak of their game.
in closing, relapse got leaked yesterday, go get it now, 10/10

| Fuck yeah dude, thanks for the hook-up by the way. lol
All these nigguhz is haters. I've been thinking about it a lot and I keep comparing him to a bunch of rappers I know and he is definitely the best rapper to ever go main stream. But I listen to a lot of underground stuff and many of them could probably crush him, both flow and lyrically, but I guess I still have yet to hear any of those CD's also where I like every single song, no exceptions. Eminem is seriously one of the only people I can think of like that out of any genre, I've been trying really hard to come up with a real competitor.
I'm just in so much shock now realizing that Eminem is possibly the greatest rapper to ever live.
Another really good album:

| I agree, that Eminem is, overall, the best rapper around. But I don't think that means that all 4 of his albums have spots in the top 5 best.
P.S. Fuck yes it was leaked? DL'ing now 8]

P.S. Fuck yes it was leaked? DL'ing now 8] this is true, just because someone is the best that doesnt mean that all of their cd's are the top 4/4, kind of like if we were to decide the best actor of all time: will smith (for comparative purposes only) he has alot of great movies but he has some that were not so great, i.e. wild wild "worst."

| So I was watchin' some random videos and they had to do with the Top Rap Artist of all time, I don't know how official this is, I'm pretty sure it's mostly about sales, not necessarily skill.
I think they said it went:
Eminem Jay-Z Lil Wayne Nelly
or some shit.
Nelly sells to women, so it's no wonder he's up there, but Jay-Z? I don't know about you guys but Jay-Z can lick mah mutha fuckin' nuts. He's got like a handful of good songs IMO.
This is all about sales, but still, I can kinda understand the other 3. Any of you homo's really dig Jay-Z?
You know whose remained legit for more years then all these guys? Still even to this day. I don't think about it much, but I just busted a mish down the street and I noticed I often just flick to him and just let it play through all the songs I have when I don't know what to choose. ICE MUTHA FUCKIN' CUBE! I wouldn't say he has as many consistent hits, but he's got a fuck ton of good songs ranging all the way back to when he use to roll with N.W.A.. And don't give me that shit about his movies, he's still been droppin' dope ass CD's every couple years.

| Incidentally, I'd say Dre is the best producer of all time, but I feel like saying so is like calling the sky blue. Dre has produced pretty much all the best hip hop songs there are. | |

| Didn't he produce 99% of Em's stuff, 99% of Snoop's stuff, all of his own stuff, and tons of other collaborative shit with other artists? | |

| Yeah, pretty much. Dr. Dre is super fuckin' legit producer wise, he's got good raps, but let's face it, his beats and shit are what really make him a legend.
AND
I just saw this, Eminem is going to be on Family Guy or some shit with Stewie this Sunday, and it's not an impersonator, it's actually him.
