Daft Punk

I've been (re)listening to all the Daft Punk CD's and realizing how epic they all are. But my curiosity has brought forth something could be or couldn't be answered. My question to you is...

Is there or will there be another single/group DJ that will be as great as Daft Punk or even better?

This is something I just randomly thought of while comparing certain artist to Daft Punk. I kept it in the range of genre, since they are badass dj's in every category.

Well there are people creepin' up on them, but I think they have a long time to go before they get dethroned. Plus they are probably workin' on some epic shit right now, it's been a while since they have done anything. But eventually, there may be someone better.

I doubt they would be dethroned, because you can't really take their title away. Because no matter what era it is, people will still say..."Daft punk is the fuckin shit" or "Daft Punk = GOD" type of stuff. But i was more aiming at who could have that one unique sound that would separate them from commercial artists.

That is kind of why I like the Gorillaz so much, they are so distinct in their sound and did it like nobody else before them, sound, style, and all. That's why I hold them so high still. Same with Daft Punk. Eventually they will kinda fall off, but they will still always be the MUTHA FUCKIN' DAFT PUNK!

Are you serious? The Chemical Brothers are GREAT, but not on the same tier as Daft Punk imo.

I think The Chemical Brothers is a pretty cool guy. He pushes buttons and doesn't afraid of anything.

Chemical Brothers are the fucking shit. I think they are easily on a equal level with daft punk.

I thought it was pretty damn good. Because the thing to keep in mind is that it's being made to be used as a movie score, not to necessarily be the next Club Banger.

As far as Original Movie Soundtrack goes, it's pretty badass if you ask me.

Im just saying personally they could've done better.

The Disney crew once agian decide on a good choice. Siding in with Square Enix first and now Daft Punk.

Daft punk still my top.
